Easy Baked Pears

a photo of pears, sliced in half in an oven-proof dish with cinnamon, walnuts and honey

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 medium to large size ripe Bartlett pears
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • cinnamon
  • honey

DIRECTIONS

Pre-heat the oven to 350. Cut the pears in half and use a spoon to scoop the seed area out a little bit. Get an oven size baking dish that’s big enough to fit the 6 pear halves. Lat those down, cut side up. Add a little bit of walnuts to the scooped out area of each pear. Sprinkle cinnamon over each pear (use your best judgment here – if you really like cinnamon, use more). Drizzle honey on each pear (again, as much as you want here). Bake these for 20-30 minutes or until they’re lightly browned and tender (you can stick a fork in them to test). Let them cool slightly before eating.

These will also store in the fridge for a couple days.
